Timely excellent service is what Yard Transformers Inc is all about. We value you as a client and realize that your satisfaction is crucial to earning your future business and your referrals. An important part of establishing long-term relationships with our clients begins with good communications.
Plants are living and require maintenance and care to a varying degree. Once your landscape is installed, you will have the responsibility for caring for your plants. Maintaining your new landscape is not difficult. When your Transformation is completed, we will give you general plant care guidelines and program your irrigation controller, along with guidelines to follow to assure proper watering of your landscaping. Simply refer to our tips, and if you have any questions, please call. We also routinely check properties after the landscape is installed and will advise you if we notice any irregularities. Should you start noticing plant decline such as wilting, leaf drop, discoloration, insect infestation, etc., please call your Pest Control Service and as well as Yard Transformers immediately. This allows all to quickly determine possible causes of plant stress and recommend solutions.
Insect and Weed Control
Nothing is more frustrating than having a beautiful landscape and seeing the plants start dying for no apparent reason. Late spring is the time of year when we start seeing more adverse insect activity. The more common are whiteflies on the gardenias and ligustrum, aphids on the daylilies and crepe myrtles, scale on camellias and hollies, lacewings on azaleas. It’s also not uncommon to see Japanese beetles on some shrub roses. Midsummer we will start to see chinch bug and mole cricket damage to lawns. When we have cool, moist, and humid weather, the conditions are optimum for disease development which if not checked can ruin the blooms on your plants or take out your entire lawn.
Whether you are going to install the proper fertilization and pest control or hire a reputable company that does it for you, this is one of the keys to having a lush landscape for all times.
Our Warranty
Occasionally plants will not survive the process of planting. We will gladly replace them at no charge, with the exceptions as stated below. Plant materials that fail will be replaced as soon as they become available and as quickly as our schedule permits. Within the following schedule, we guarantee to replace, once, any plant installed by Yard Transformers, Inc. that fails to grow. 3 Months limited warranty is provided for all plants, except for transplanted plants. Reasonable growing conditions must be maintained as a provision of the warranty, including automated irrigation, insect and disease control, and shelter from unreasonable damage by pets or pedestrians.
What is not included in our warranty
- Vandalism or acts of God including but not limited to hail, ice storms, early and late season severe freezes, damaging winds, hurricanes, drought conditions, flooding, tornados, etc.
- Plants not watered by a properly maintained automated irrigation system.
- Plants that are damaged or die as a result of insect infestation or disease.
- Plants that die as a result of improper cultural practices such as over or under watering, improper fertilizing, damage from chemical applications, etc.
- Plants that are transplanted.
- Annuals and perennials that are 6” pots, (1 gal) or less when planted.
- Homeowner provided plants.
- Requested plant materials not for our growing Zone. Tropicals.
